Biochar-Snowboard wins World Cup race for the first time!
Congratulation Maurizio Bormolini on this brilliant result
We are happy to announce that Maurizio Bormolini won for the first time a World Cup Slalom Race on a snowboard made with biochar. Maurizio is a professional alpine snowboarder from Livigno, Italy.
Since this season he rides in the Global C-Sink Team and is supported by Carbon Standards.
These days, our athlete won an FIS World Cup race in Bad Gastein, Austria.
Maurizio competes with snowboards made by Oxess, that were co-developed with the Ithaka Institute using climate-positive nano-carbon technology (Global C-Sink). The nano-carbon is obtained from various micronized biochars and improves the dynamic properties of the snowboard.
We congratulate Maurizio on this brilliant result and look forward to further joint successes and developments.
