C-Werk
Biochar can be used as an auxiliary input for fertile soils, in animal husbandry, as a filter and for many other purposes. The c-werk association pursues the idea of enlivening the variety of uses of coal and creating a place to enable encounters, discussions and learning experiences.
Charnet
We are a member of the Swiss Association for Biochar and Pyrolysis. The association seeks to promote and communicate knowledge of biochar and pyrolysis and their benefits in production and use in agricultural, urban and municipal settings.
EOC Energy Ocean GMBH
Energy Ocean advises on pyrolysis projects, biomass utilisation, CO2/EBC certification, material flow optimisation and distributes and produces biochar.
Generation Carbon GMBH
Generation Carbon empowers trades and industries worldwide to develop and build pyrolysis systems adapted to the local context for co-generation of energy and biochar. This includes introductory courses and lectures up to engineering and test operation, as well as project development and bringing together the right partners.
InfraTrace GMBH
InfraTrace GmbH supports communities, companies and organisations in maintaining the value of infrastructures. The focus is on sustainable CO2 reduction with the pyrolysis of biomasses into value-adding areas of use. The services are complemented by information and documentation concepts.
Ithaka Institute for carbon strategies
The Ithaka Institute for Carbon Strategies is an international open-source network for climate farming and carbon strategies. Over the past 10 years the Ithaka Institute for Carbon Strategies has become a leading research institute in the field of the sequestration and bio-recycling of carbon using agricultural methods.
Michael Schmid Graphics Studio
The small, fine graphics studio in Gipf-Oberfrick has designed our appearance, developed our templates. Whether design manuals, PowerPoint presentations, car and street signage, trade fair booths, roll-ups, flyers and much more, Atelier Michael Schmid has accompanied and supported us for many years.
Solution.ch AG
Web design is a matter of trust, which is why bio.inspecta AG has been working with Solution.ch AG in Winterthur for years. Solution.ch advised us on the development of our websites, tailored modules and plugins in SolutionCMS to our needs and supports us in our day-to-day work.
CDR Swiss
The Swiss Carbon Removal Platform brings together stakeholders around the topic of CDR methods (carbon dioxide removal) to achieve Swiss climate goals.
Authorities and public services, industry and commerce, research and education as well as civil societies are among the more than 50 members and benefit from the common network, the active exchange as well as the versatile offers and activities within the Swiss Carbon Removal Platform.
We are very pleased to be part of this network and to continue working together on the development of CDR methods.
ANZBIG - Australia New Zealand Biochar Industry Group
The Australia New Zealand Biochar Industry Group (ANZBIG) assists companies, governments and institutions in the effective use and production of Biochar. ANZBIG focuses and streamlines biochar education, research, collaboration and commercialisation activities to provide better outcomes for the societies of Australia and New Zealand. The aim of ANZBIG is to facilitate the safe and effective use of Biochar in the key areas of Biochar use as well as the safe and effective use of Wood Vinegar as a Biostimulant.
CarbonSpace
CarbonSpace is a satellite and AI-based platform enabling food & beverage companies to generate carbon claims on land-based operations and reach climate goals across their supply chains. The platform empowers unified, scalable, and cost-effective carbon footprint monitoring with carbon claims applicable to a broad range of ecosystems globally, including croplands, plantations, forests, agroforestry, and grazing lands. This breadth brings a new level of transparency to supply chains and unleashes the potential of nature-based carbon dioxide (CO2) removal projects.
CIED
As Carbon Standard International’s technology partner CIED turns visions into products. In the collaboration projects regarding the development of applications are ongoing.
CIED focuses on quality assurance in supply chains and more and offers web, mobile, blockchain and AI technologies.
European Biochar Industry Consortium (EBI)
Carbon Standards International AG is a Premium Member of the EBI. The EBI supports the development of a European biochar and pyrolysis industry. It is committed to the principles of sustainable production with regional raw materials and to adherence to strict environmental standards.
The EBI promotes the use of biochar on a large scale in order to use this Negative Emission Technology (NET) to achieve meaningful contributions to carbon sequestration and thus mitigate climate change.
German Biochar e.V. (Fachverband Pflanzenkohle e.V.)
The German Biochar Association was founded in 2017 with the aim of supporting the use of biochar and contributing to the withdrawal of CO2 from the atmosphere in order to protect the environment. We and our members advocate the sustainable production and use of biochar. We see ourselves as partners of scientists and practitioners, technical system developers and political decision-makers.
IBI - International Biochar Initiative
The International Biochar Initiative (IBI) and Carbon Standards International have entered into a partnership to create stronger standards and certifications to meet the needs of a rapidly scaling biochar industry. As the core part of this partnership, the IBI Biochar Standard will merge with CSI’s World Biochar Certificate.
INDOCERT
INDOCERT is an Indian certification body, operating nationally and internationally. INDOCERT provides certifications in the field of agriculture, offering several sustainable agricultural standards.
INDOCERT has partnered with Carbon Standards International AG (CSI), Switzerland to offer inspection and certification services for their Biochar standards EBC and Global Artisan C-Sink, set by CSI.
Landwirtschaft 5.0
Landwirtschaft 5.0 (agriculture 5.0) offers farmers a sustainable future. It combats the greatest challenges such as species extinction, the massive disruption of natural cycles and the climate crisis. With the components of Landwirtschaft 5.0, new habitats for animals can be created and networked, local material cycles can be closed, and sustainable soil management can be established to increase humus.
ÖBIKA - Austrian Association for Biomass Carbonization
The association ÖBIKA consists of Austrian carbonisate researchers, users and people interested in the subject for other reasons.
